Did you know richest 10 charities hold 27% of the sectors wealth? [article] We want to help distribute the public’s donations to all charities that have similar goals, whether they’re tackling the same cause or helping the same community.

Chosen partners will be added to a location fund relevant to their postcode district. Some partners will be selected for one of our activity funds which include charities that are all working towards a similar cause. All donations to each fund will be distributed equally amongst the charities within the fund.

FAQs

How many charities are in a fund? 15 charities are included in each of our tailored funds. Currently, slots are given on a first come, first serve basis and a waiting list will be made when a fund is full.

Is there a donation fee? The following will be deducted from every donation before the sum is calculated for equal distribution between charities in a fund; 0.5% Easy Giving fund platform fee, 1.75% Donorbox donation platform fee*, 2.9% + $0.30 Stripe payment platform fee**.

*For ACH (direct bank donation), Donorbox fees are capped at $25.

** For ACH donations, Stripe charges 0.8%, with a cap of $5.

When do charities receive their share of donations? Payments will be transferred to charities at the end of each quarter.

Can charities claim gift aid?  Currently no. However, we are working on bringing this feature in the future.
